How far in advance should I book?The sooner the better! It is recommended that you book your wedding makeup artist at least 6-12 months in advance. This will give you enough time to research and book a reputable artist who fits your style and budget. It is also important to schedule a trial well in advance of your wedding day to ensure that your desired look can be achieved.

Do you require a deposit to book?Yes, I do require a deposit to secure your appointment. This deposit is typically 50% of the total service cost and is necessary to confirm and hold your date. This policy ensures that I can allocate the necessary time and resources to prepare for your special day.

What should I expect during a bridal makeup trial?During a bridal makeup trial, this is the perfect opportunity for us to meet! You will be offered a coffee/tea and we will sit down together and have a consultation to discuss your desired look for your wedding day. I will ask about your wedding dress, theme, and the overall vibe you are going for. Once these details are established, I will apply the makeup and make any necessary adjustments until you are happy with the final result. On the day of your trial, please wear a similar colour to your wedding dress, as this will help with seeing how your makeup will look on the day. You are more than welcome to bring a guest with you if you would like

When should I book my bridal trial?It is entirely up to you! Feel free to book your bridal trial any time before your wedding day. Most brides tie this in with a special event such as engagement photos or a hens do.

How do I book my bridal services with MJ Makeup and Beauty?For all wedding bookings, a signed contract and a deposit is required. Bookings are on a 'first come first served' basis. Please note, your booking is not secured until the contract is signed and the deposit has been paid which will come off the total price. Full payment is to be made prior to the wedding date or cash on the day.

Do I need to have a trial in order to book you for my wedding makeup?Having a trial is always suggested but not mandatory to schedule an appointment with me. I acknowledge that meeting for a trial may not always be feasible due to factors like distance between our locations and busy work schedules.
